Fury is a GPU point cloud renderer for Softimage and Maya. A fast solution is great, especially if you use mentalray, vray or similiar renderers. Here the rendering of a large amount of particles can be a daunting process. volumetic lighting is in process. Unfortunatly I could not read anything about a deep camera data export what would be desirable for a efficient compositing.

Release 2:

The Maya plugin is released. The feature list reads a bit like the one for Krakatoa with the exception that it works on a GPU.

 

Since there is no sign of Exocortex or Fury any more and the website is redirected to threekit.com, I suppose the renderer is dead an move it to the graveyard.
